04.09.2019 · Well, of course I don’t mean X (or better: at least most parts of desktop) could freeze when connecting to the Arch32 box via ssh. I fear also not to be able to execute a dmesg on it via ssh after it got frozen, because that’s what we’re looking for.

06.06.2019 · I got a problem and I've no clue where to start debugging - I'm using lightdm and xfce4 and when I try to login, it shuts down and restarts. I disabled lightdm with systemctl and tried doing startx by myself, same thing, so it's probably not the dm.

26.05.2019 · I transcode them on a 64bit machine to the exact resolution of my eeepc (which is 1024x600) using ffmpeg. I have a script that inspect the video file using ffprobe, works out the aspect ratio and constructs a -scale argument which is either 1024:-2 or -2:600 depending on whether the source picture is wider or taller than my target ratio.

The smallest i486 system probably in existence. i486 DX/2, 66 MHz, 16 MB RAM and a 512 MB hard drive. sweet. And fits under my monitor. I need an IDE/SD-adapter as 512 MB is not enough for a basic installation of Archlinux32
