06.07.2018 Â· A dirty old machine: One can spot an ancient Maxtor 80 MB (!) hard disk on the first picture from 1992. I simply used it as some kind of "keel", ballast to reduce chassis vibration caused by a previous IDE hard drive.

13.08.2018 Â· Oof, well, if someone can point me at an alternative that lets me run noscript or an alternative, I guess I could see if I can use that. And no, I don't want an adblocker - I have no problem with legitmate advertising that isn't tracking me (which is very little of it in practice, but there you go).

22.02.2018 Â· Hi, I've installed arch on an old Sony Vaio laptop (VGN-TX3XP) though for some reason X doesn't start. To test the setup I'm using "exec twm" within ".xinitrc" as the simplest settup possible.

01.09.2018 Â· The paccheck in pacutils seems to be more about checking that the files inside packages match their recorded stats. My tool assumes all metadata is correct, and just checks that the packages or provided features actually exist, and that their versions are permitted, and is designed to spot the issues that people have been reporting on these ...
